There is a new way to record our ward history! It will be done wholly on the ward level now, and will be recorded completely online at the following address https://unithistory.churchofjesuschrist.org. Posts can be added in real time, and all ward members will be able to read the history as they desire. Only ward presidents and secretaries (from all organizations) can submit histories, but all ward members can read them. This will be private to only our ward and it requires a churchofjesuschrist.org login, so this will be the safest place to record current events and past events for our ward to enjoy. It is as easy as making a social media post: just write about what happened in your organization, add any pictures if desired, and post. The post will then be approved by the bishopric, and upon approval all ward members will be able to read. Other members of organizations could write posts and email them to their organizations’ president or secretary to post, too. This will be a wonderful resource to help build greater unity for all ward members as all will be able to join in and see the wonderful things that happen in our ward.
